While I have never been a fan of Facebook, this article left me a bit disturbed. I feel very similar to when I discovered that *I* was the product radio stations were selling to advertisers. Nope, I don't think so.
I just spent 20 minutes navigating through all the various privacy options and menus in order to put some damage control on what is "public" info about me. I opted out wherever possible and took a bunch of stuff down. I am not going to hardcore route of taking my profile down. I don't use it often enough to make much of a difference if I leave, and therefore not much of a protest vote.
