These photos were taken the day after the 2009 Seattle Erotic Art Festival. After 4 days of art, performances and socializing, it seemed painful to go back to everyday life. We decided that making art would be a great form of after-care, as well as a re-stabilization. A grounding, of sorts.
She and her sweetie, DeLano, were staying at a mutual friend's apartment in the South Lake Union neighbourhood. The light pouring through the windows was magical and soothing all at once. I rolled around on the floor and the bed close to a floor to ceiling window. Michele was down on the floor with me, staying on my level. All part of that grounding, upon reflection.
She's an Invited artist in the 2010 Seattle Erotic Art Festival. Here's hoping I'll get a chance to make more art with her this year.
